8 Hour Death Doula Support Time Bank
Eight hours of flexible, compassionate support before, during, or after a death.
Service Description
This eight-hour time bank offers flexible, compassionate support before, during, or after a death. It may support the person who is dying, their loved ones and caregivers, or someone facing the illness or loss of a beloved pet. Use the hours in the ways that are most helpful to you, such as conversation and emotional support, caregiver respite, help preparing questions for your care team, family communication, or vigil companionship. Support may be provided in person in the Tucson area, by phone, or over Zoom. The eight hours do not need to be used all at once. Time is tracked and deducted in 15-minute increments. Hours are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase. I’ll keep you updated on the time used and how much remains, so you can draw on support as needs arise. Your booking request is for an initial one-hour appointment and requires my confirmation. Your purchase includes the full time bank—not just this appointment. We’ll arrange any remaining support together, based on your needs and my availability. My work is non-medical and does not replace medical, veterinary, mental-health, or legal care.
Cancellation Policy
At Soul Symbiosis, I understand that illness, end-of-life care, and grief are inherently unpredictable. My policies are designed to be flexible and compassionate while honoring the time reserved for your family. Booking & Scheduling Confirmation Required: All booking requests for single sessions and time banks are subject to my confirmation to ensure alignment, safety, and travel availability. Format: Appointments are available in person throughout the Tucson area, over the phone, or virtually via Zoom. Time Bank Structure: Purchasing a 4-hour or 8-hour time bank includes the full block of hours. Initial booking requests reserve your first meeting; subsequent hours are scheduled collaboratively as needs arise. Time is deducted in 15-minute increments, and all hours must be used within 90 days of purchase. Cancellations & Rescheduling Emergencies & Changing Conditions: If a visit needs to be canceled or rescheduled due to a sudden medical emergency, hospitalization, or death, no fee or penalty will apply. Please notify me as soon as reasonably possible. Non-Emergency Notice: For routine rescheduling or non-emergency cancellations, please provide at least 24 hours of advance notice so that time may be offered to another family in need. Late Cancellations (Under 24 Hours): For non-emergency cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice, a $50 late fee may be charged (or 30 minutes deducted from an active time bank) to honor scheduled preparation and reserved time. Refunds: Unused single sessions may be refunded if canceled with more than 24 hours' notice. Time bank purchases are non-refundable once support has begun, but remaining unused hours may be transferred to another family member within the 90-day window upon request. Waitlist If a preferred appointment time is full, you may request to be added to the waitlist. Should an opening become available, waitlisted clients will be notified in the order requests were received.
