Service Description

The transition at the end of life is one of the most sacred, tender thresholds a person and their loved ones will ever experience. As an End-of-Life Doula and Spiritual Transitions Guide, I provide calm, non-judgmental, and non-clinical companioning to ensure that this sacred time is met with dignity, comfort, deep respect, and peace. Every individual and family moves through the dying process in their own way. I meet you exactly where you are, honoring your personal values, cultural traditions, and spiritual or non-spiritual beliefs without imposing any dogma or agenda. I work collaboratively and harmoniously alongside your hospice care team, family members, and caregivers to create a supportive, comforting environment. Support can include: Bedside Vigil Presence: Holding quiet, reassuring space during the final days and active dying phase, ensuring no one has to feel alone. Practical Comfort Measures: Assisting with non-medical comfort such as mouth care (swabbing and moisture), repositioning pillows, soothing lighting, gentle touch, and creating a peaceful, calming sensory atmosphere. Respite for Caregivers: Giving family members and primary caregivers permission and space to rest, sleep, eat, or process their emotions knowing their loved one is safely attended with compassionate presence. Family Communication & Facilitation: Assisting with gentle, honest conversations among family members regarding final wishes, values, and emotional needs. Legacy & Meaning-Making: Exploring life stories, letters, memories, or gentle closing rituals that honor the unique life and dignity of the dying individual. I am not a medical provider and do not direct or administer medical care. My role is to be a steady anchor of presence, love, and practical support so you and your family can focus on what matters most: connection, comfort, and peace.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that end-of-life circumstances, medical changes, and deep transitions are unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled visit, please give as much advance notice as possible (ideally 24–48 hours). In the event of a sudden change in condition, hospitalization, or death, no cancellation fee will apply. For non-emergency cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a partial fee ($50 / 50%) may be charged to honor scheduled time and preparation.
