Service Description

The bond between a person and their pet is one of the most pure and unconditional relationships a human being can experience. When that bond is threatened by illness, aging, or loss, the grief that follows is real, deep, and deserving of the same compassion and care as any other loss. Pet End-of-Life & Pet Loss Support offers a warm, judgment-free space for people navigating the end of their beloved companion's life — whether that end is approaching slowly, arriving suddenly, or has already come. You will not be told that "it was just a dog" or encouraged to move on before you are ready. Your grief will be honored exactly as it is. I offer support across the full arc of this experience: — Anticipatory grief: Your pet is aging or ill and you are already grieving the companion you are slowly losing. This space is for the quiet, exhausting heartbreak of that in-between time. — Active end-of-life companioning: I will come alongside you and your family as your pet approaches the end of their life, offering presence, comfort, and support so that no one has to face that sacred moment alone. — Bereavement support: After your companion has passed, grief can feel isolating — especially when the people around you don't understand the depth of your loss. I do. I will sit with you in that grief for as long as you need. I bring both professional training and personal experience to this work. I lost my own beloved dog and companion of 14 years recently, and I know firsthand how that loss can leave an absence that echoes through every part of daily life. You are not alone, and your grief is not too much. Please note: Pet End-of-Life & Pet Loss Support is a companionship service. It is not a substitute for veterinary care, mental health therapy, or medical advice.

Cancellation Policy

I understand that end-of-life circumstances, medical changes, and deep transitions are unpredictable. If you need to reschedule or cancel a scheduled visit, please give as much advance notice as possible (ideally 24–48 hours). In the event of a sudden change in condition, hospitalization, or death, no cancellation fee will apply. For non-emergency cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice, a partial fee ($50 / 50%) may be charged to honor scheduled time and preparation.
